Palestrina Missa Brevis

Sunday, November 1, 2026 5:00 PM … as part of Sunday’s Mass.

Holy Name Catholic Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River, MA

Invited by Fr. Riley Williams, Pastor of Holy Name Catholic Church, Sine Nomine will sing Palestrina’s Missa Brevis as part of the celebration of the Mass, just as it was originally intended by the composer when he created it in the 16th century.

While performances of Masses as concert pieces are not uncommon, the opportunity to experience this music in the midst of a religious service is a special experience.
