Our singers come from all walks of life and include professional musicians as well as dedicated enthusiasts of choral singing. What we all have in common is the skill and discipline required to perform a capella repertoire with a small ensemble. Our material ranges from medieval time to contemporary compositions, so the ability to read unfamiliar music is often critical.

If you are an experienced singer in the southeastern New England area and have a passionate interest in a capella repertoire, please contact us about an audition. We are currently auditioning all voice parts.

Sine Nomine rehearses every Monday night from 7 to 9:30pm in Fall River Massachusetts. Our regular season runs from early September through May or June.

Your audition may involve joining the choir for a night of sight-reading, as well as an individual test of your range and vocal quality. If you would like to prepare an excerpt or a solo for your audition, we recommend the duration be between 1 and 2 minutes.
