Our singers come from all walks of life and include professional musicians as well as dedicated enthusiasts of choral singing. What we have in common is the skill and discipline required to perform a capella repertoire within a small ensemble. Our material ranges from medieval to contemporary compositions, so the ability to read unfamiliar music is often critical.
Sine Nomine rehearses every Monday night from 7 to 9:30pm in Fall River, MA. Our regular season runs from early September through May or June.
Your audition will involve joining the choir for a night of sight-reading, with an individual test of your range and vocal quality following the rehearsal. You may also be asked to prepare an excerpt or a brief solo for your audition.
If you are an experienced singer in the southeastern New England area and have a passionate interest in a cappella repertoire, email us! Please include your voice part and a brief choral history. We will notify you when we schedule our next auditions.
